Keith provides counsel on federal and state tax compliance matters, offering strategic tax planning solutions tailored to clients. He has experience assisting clients with both state and federal tax audits, ensuring compliance with IRS and state tax regulations. His work includes in-depth legal research and analysis on tax structuring and state tax law, equipping clients with practical solutions to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risk.
Keith earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law. While in law school, he was a student attorney with the University of Washington Federal Tax Clinic, representing low-income clients in IRS disputes. His work included successfully petitioning for an Offer-In-Compromise for an indigent client, settling the client’s outstanding tax debt for $1, and filing a novel Tax Court petition on tax credits for formerly incarcerated individuals, which led to an IRS concession.
